Case description
This 27 year-old patient was referred for a root canal treatment in a non-vital left maxillary central incisor.
After an access cavity was established, a #20 k-file was used to establish glidepath. The canal was then instrumented with the SAF, with continuous sodium hypochlorite irrigation. The minimally-invasive nature of this treatment is demonstrated both in the x-ray of the SAF inside the canal, as well as in the final x-ray photograph.
Obturation was done by gutta percha and sealer. The patient was presented with a composite restoration and sent back to the referring dentist.
