Traumatized maxillary central incisor

Traumatized maxillary central incisor

Case description

This 9 year-old patient arrived post-trauma, with a central maxillary incisor sufferring from necrosis and a periapical lesion.

Once the access cavity was open, only a 2.0mm SAF was operated, with 1.5% sodium hypochlorite irrigation for 4 minutes.

Obturation was done with MTA for apexification, followed by hot guttapercha.

The photo of the obturation was taken 3 months after the endodontic treatment, showing the progress of the healing.
